On Sunday, July 13, 2025, a 24-year-old and a 28-year-old came into a life-threatening situation in Hochzoll when they bathed in the field of hydropower plant despite a bathing ban. At around 4:30 p.m., both were recorded by the strong current and brought into great difficulties. An attentive passer -by saw the drama and immediately alerted the emergency call and an employee of the power plant.

Thanks to the quick action of the power plant employee, who switched off the turbines, the 28-year-old was able to get to safety in front of the dangerous arithmetic clearance system. However, all help came too late for the 24-year-old; He was unable to save himself. A brave police officer jumped into the water and together with the water guard managed to bring it ashore. Both crashes were taken to the hospital for further examination, while the police were investigating the forbidden bathing.
