Record-breaking summer lounge in Wunsiedel: Fichtelgebirge is celebrating!
The summer lounge will be held in Wunsiedel on August 7, 2025, and the anticipation is already palpable. According to the Frankenpost Over 6,000 visitors are expected. With 113 exhibitors and caterers from the region, the event will probably exceed the previous record participation.
The aim of this event is to put the Fichtelgebirge in the best light and to gain both local and national attention. Large companies are represented as well as small businesses, retailers, craftsmen, institutions, municipalities and associations. The breezy after-work party is organized by the dedicated team around Sabine Reichel-Fröhlich and Mayor Nicolas Lahovnik.
Motto and program
Under the motto “LIVE THE FUTURE!” the Fichtelgebirge summer lounge is particularly complex. The Fichtelgebirge Support Association has created an attractive program in cooperation with the city of Wunsiedel and regional partners. In addition to exciting regional presentations, there will be a supporting and stage program as well as culinary highlights. A special attraction will be the charity raffle, where you can win experience vouchers.
The focus for 2025 is on energy, sustainability as well as the Luisenburg Festival and the Jean Paul Year. It is also planned that companies, institutions and clubs from Wunsiedel, Bayreuth, Hof, Tirschenreuth and the Bavarian-Bohemian border area will take part in the summer lounge.
Practical information
Registration for interested exhibitors and caterers is possible online via the Living Apps platform until June 6, 2025. If you would like to submit vouchers for the raffle, you can do so at tombola@foerderverein-fichtelgebirge.de do. In addition, the magazine “ZUKUNFT Fichtelgebirge” with a circulation of 20,000 copies is distributed free of charge in the region to provide a platform for further ideas and offers.
Looking at the event calendar in the Fichtelgebirge, the 222nd Schwarzenbacher Wiesenfest, which will take place from July 18th to 21st, 2025, is also mentioned as another highlight. Live music, dances and a magnificent fireworks display promise an entertaining program for young and old. The atmosphere of the region is flourishing, as is the case Fichtelgebirge website shows.
Preparations are in full swing and it remains to be seen what surprises August 7th has in store for everyone involved. One thing is certain: the summer lounge will be a celebration of the community and the region!
