The Scherdel-Wiesauplast company has responded to the increasing demand for qualified specialists and relies on trainees from El Salvador. Of the originally 17 potential trainees, 15 were able to travel to Germany after they were selected due to language skills and other challenges.

The applicants from El Salvador have a high school diploma and have language skills at B1 level. They come from various social classes and see the training in Germany as an opportunity for their personal and professional development. The feedback from the companies is consistently positive: the young people are curious and open, which makes integration much easier.
