Just in time for autumn, volunteers in the Schwandorf district can look forward to an exciting series of free workshops. The Club school, organized by Lernlernen Region Schwandorf e.V. since 2019, will open a platform for further training and exchange from October 14, 2025.
The series of events is intended for all volunteers who want to expand their knowledge and further training in relevant subject areas. It starts with an important topic: theData protection. October 14th will focus on the legal aspects of data processing, including the role of the data protection officer and image publication. At a time when personal data is valuable and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets stricter guidelines, information technology know-how is essential.
Diverse topics for volunteers
On October 22nd there is an online seminar on the program that deals with the implementation ofMember meetingsand board meetings. Here, participants learn how to make legally sound decisions and effectively manage disruptions in meetings.
This will be followed by a workshop on October 28thcreative and secure maintenance of the club homepage. Here, volunteers receive tips on how to create a data protection declaration and how to design the imprint, which are essential for a club's good online presence. The implementation of a transparent data protection declaration that meets the requirements of the GDPR is particularly emphasized. Social networks and tax law at a glance
The series continues with a workshop on November 11thsocial networksfurther. Participants learn everything about the differences between Reels and Stories, as well as about content and community management - valuable knowledge to strengthen the club's digital presence.
As a culmination, the club school is offering a workshop on the topic on November 27thTax lawto. Essential points about non-profit status, different types of taxes and the correct formation of reserves are discussed here, which are of great importance for the financial management of an association.
Participation and registration
All workshops are free, but registration is required. Those interested can either register via the adult education center in the city triangle or contact us directly by phone on 09471 30 22 333. It is possible for several members of the same club to register together.
The events take place both in the meeting room of the Schwandorf District Office and online. For the online seminars, it is recommended to use the free Zoom app to participate in the webinars, which allows participants to participate flexibly and conveniently explains the KBW.
