Green city council list 2026: Simbach wants to strengthen women and families!

in Simbach, in the Rottal-Inn district, there was an insightful meeting of the candidates for the city council election 2026 by Bündnis 90/Die Grünen last week. In this first meeting, the focus was on promoting a younger city council and increasing the proportion of women in local politics. Larissa Hausberger, the municipal councilor and 2nd Mayor of Zeilarn, supported the initiative with its extensive knowledge and its experiences from local politics, such as [PNP] (https://www.pnp.de/lokales/landkreis-rotttal-inn/nach- many years-pause-2026-get-es-stadtstratslist-fuer-Simbach-18846590) reported.

Those present collected ideas on how Simbach can be made more family -friendly. Suggestions for more meetings for young and old were discussed, but also the traffic situation, which is a challenge, especially for cyclists, came into focus. Katharina Stauder, the secretary of the local association, emphasized that the traffic situation has only improved in a few places and that many danger spots continue to exist.

important topics in the focus

An important topic at the meeting was also the electrification of the Simbach-Mühldorf railway line and the A 94. The people present agreed that the expansion of the traffic infrastructure for the quality of life in the region was of great importance. This also includes the discussion about wind power, which will also take an important place in the Greens' election program. The current city council decision against priority areas for wind turbines was discussed, and the participants agreed that wind turbines should not be categorically excluded.

In order to increase the proportion of women in local politics, there has been an action program since June 2023, which was launched by the Federal Ministry of Equal Opportunities. The aim is to represent women in town halls, district offices and municipal representations more. The program includes numerous measures, and ten new model regions have already been selected on April 19, including the district of Schweinfurt in Bavaria. These regions receive financial support for women-promoting measures, such as BMFSFJ reports.

invitation to participate

The group around Bündnis 90/The Greens invites all interested citizens to actively participate in the program work and to submit suggestions for the election. In addition, potential candidates can apply for free list places. The first names of the candidates have already been determined, including Harald Bader, Miriam Geigenberger, Alois Hadeier, Heike Mühlberger, Veronika Reisner, Jana and Sergej Schander, Katharina and Arthur Stauder. Contact for interested parties is available by email at info@gruene-untererinn.de PNP.

The election program 2026 is also being worked out, and the participants of the Call for Papers have been honored for their suggestions. The submitted ideas will be included in the draft of the election program, which is to be presented by the end of the year. The goal is a strong and citizen -friendly program that takes up the needs and suggestions of the population, informs Gruene.Berlin.
