50 adventure seekers from Simbach conquer Munich: film and football!

Off to exciting Munich it was time for 50 children and adults from Simbach, who recently went on an exciting excursion as part of the city's holiday program. Organized by the youth office and the ASCK Simbach, the adventure started with a trip to the Bavaria Filmstadt in Grünwald.

Here the participants were divided into two groups to discover the world of the film together. A highlight was a visit to the 4D cinema, followed by an exploration of various film sets. You could marvel at sets from well-known films such as “The Canoe of Manitu”, “Asterix and Obelix” and the classic “Das Boot”. What was particularly remembered were the exciting opportunities that the film city offered—including the chance to sit on the back of the lucky dragon “Fuchur” from “The Neverending Story” and to try out the role of the actors in “The Rosenheim Cops” yourself.

An unforgettable experience

The children were thrilled by the scenes they were allowed to reenact in “Fack ju Göhte”. As a special souvenir, they received a film with their own acting performances. After a short snack we continued to the legendary Allianz Arena in Fröttmaning.

The Allianz Arena is one of the most important football stadiums in the world. With a capacity of up to 75,000 spectators, it is not only the home of FC Bayern Munich, but also an architectural masterpiece designed by the renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron. The special exterior facade with almost 3,000 glowing bubbles transforms the stadium into a colorful sight, especially during FC Bayern home games when it is lit up in red and white—a fact that munich.travel also highlights.

The tour participants were able to visit exciting areas such as the press room, the changing rooms and the players' tunnel. An absolute highlight was sitting in the substitutes' seats and experiencing the stadium from a completely different perspective. The visit was rounded off in the Arenastüberl and the fan shop, where you could purchase a variety of fan items.

A heartfelt thank you

Gerti Stinglhammer from the youth office and Stefan Lehner from ASCK Simbach warmly thanked all those accompanying them and participants for this successful excursion. This day will definitely be remembered fondly by many for a long time. Both the fascinating impressions in the film city and the magical atmosphere of the Allianz Arena contributed to the children and adults having many stories to tell.

The Allianz Arena, which is frequented by up to 6,000 visitors every day, is not only interesting for football fans. In addition to the guided tours that offer insights behind the scenes, there is also the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt - the largest sports club museum in Germany, where the history of the club from its founding to today's successes is presented. Anyone planning a visit should definitely take a day to enjoy all the highlights in peace. Further information can be found on the Allianz Arena website: allianz-arena.com.
