Roth, Deutschland - The anticipation for the Challenge Roth 2025 is growing! On 6. July it is finally time and the triathlon community is looking forward to this exciting event. The Bayerische Rundfunk will report live from the race and the audience will be provided with top-class contributions.
For everyone who wants to experience the adventure up close, the event is made accessible by various live streams and TV broadcasts. The transmission on BR television begins at 6.15 a.m. and lasts until 11:00 a.m. before it is resumed at 12:00 p.m. and goes by 3:15 p.m. . The entire event promises a spectacle that is accompanied by the first swimming train to the last finish.
The exciting racing event
The competition includes a demanding route of 3.8 km swimming , followed by 180 km cycling and a marathon over 42.2 km . The swimmers start in the picturesque Main-Donau Canal, while the bike route contains the challenging Solarer Berg . The marathon then leads the participants along the canal, through the Rother market square and to Büchenbach to the destination in Roth.
Not only amateurous triathletes are expected, but also some of the best athletes in the world, such as Jan Frodeno, Patrick Lange, Sebi Kienle and Anne Haug, who have already performed great performances in previous years.
