Rosenheim City Festival 2025: A mega event for young and old!
Rosenheim is in the starting blocks for an exciting city festival that will be celebrated on June 27th and 28th, 2025. Under the motto “Rosenheim City Festival”, the organizers, the Rosenheim City Management together with the city, are expecting numerous guests in the city center, where the popular squares such as Max-Josefs-Platz, Salzstadel, Salinplatz and Ludwigsplatz will be transformed into a colorful festival parade. The opening will take place on Friday, June 27th at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Andreas März and promises a lot of entertainment right from the start.
What can festival visitors expect? On Friday evening, DJ George Townston will be at Max-Josefs-Platz to get people in the mood with a mix of Ibiza music. There will be an “alternative area” on the Salzstadel that will feature folk punk, blues and rock’n’roll. From 6:00 p.m. on Salinplatz there will be the wine festival with the twin town of Lazise, where the “Roberta Band” will provide a musical atmosphere. The “Soul Sofa” will enchant the audience with its sounds on Ludwigsplatz from 7:30 p.m.
Saturday full of activities
Saturday will be no less exciting either. The Stadtjugendring Parkfest begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Salingarten, followed by traditional Bavarian entertainment on Max-Josefs-Platz. From 5:00 p.m., visitors can look forward to the “STUDIO-JAM on STAGE” with a jazz collective, while the final concert with “Just Duty Free” is on the program at 8:00 p.m. Feel-good music will be heard on Ludwigsplatz from 3:40 p.m., while culinary delights and a feast for the senses will take place in Esbaumviertel from 10:00 a.m. These include wines, coffee specialties and exciting raffle tickets.
A special highlight will be the mobile soccer field from “Banananenflanke”, which will be available for children on Kaiserstrasse from 1 p.m. The youth city band and the Musikschmurfs will also perform at the Salzstadel at 1 p.m. Fans of the live podcasts have the chance to chat with “Master Eder” Florian Brückner at 4 p.m. From 6:00 p.m. DJ H. Musicbox will be playing and creating the necessary party atmosphere.
Practical information
Whether you arrive on foot or by vehicle, the city has taken precautions. You can park for free in the city's parking garages for up to an hour. However, there will be traffic restrictions on certain streets in the city center from Friday 5 p.m. It is therefore advisable to plan well in advance and to take a look at the latest information from time to time.
