Art, music and help: summer highlights in the diocese of Regensburg 2025

There is still a lot to experience in beautiful Bavaria in the summer of 2025. The diocese of Regensburg has put together an exciting program of events that combines cultural highlights and important information events. You shouldn't miss the following events!

Especially those Exhibition “Rupert D. Preißl. Beyond the Visible” is the focus. Interested visitors can find out more about the artist's life's work on June 14th, July 12th and July 26th at 2:30 p.m. in the Regensburg Art and Trade Association. The reason for this special exhibition is the 100th birthday of Rupert D. Preißl. Tony Kobler, the third chairman of the association, leads the tours.

Music and encounters in Speinshart Monastery

This is another highlightOpen air concert with world music from Ghana, that onSunday June 22nd at 4 p.mwill take place in the Speinshart monastery courtyard. Adjiri Odametey and his ensemble bring authentic African sounds to the stage with traditional instruments. A worthwhile end to a summer day awaits visitors.

A little later, onJune 29th at 5 p.m, there is in the courtyard of the monasteryChoir concert by the Weiden singing group. Fourteen choirs will perform and entry is free, donations are welcome. A festive concert in wonderful surroundings – that can only be good!

Also onJune 29thone celebrates oneOpen day at the Schwarzach Orthopedic Clinic. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Pfarrer-Michael-Graf Foundation, everyone is invited to visit the clinic and take part in lectures and clinic tours. A festive service at 10 a.m. in St. Martin rounds off this impressive series of events.
