Watch out creative adventurers: Pfaffenhofen calls for the photo competition!

Bistumerweg 5, 85276 Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Deutschland - On Saturday, June 21, photography enthusiasts can look forward to a very special event in Pfaffenhofen: the photo competition "Fotogehgrafie", which takes place as part of the cultural summer. Whether passionate hobby photographer or professional - everyone is invited to start with their camera and a creative spirit. The Stadtjugendpflege Pfaffenhofen organizes this exciting competition, which challenges the participants to create inspiring pictures in ten hours from a station parking in the city.

The challenge is very specific. Under the motto "Twelve topics, ten hours, six kilometers away", the photographers have to implement three photographic topics at four different stations. The stations are distributed in the Pfaffenhofen city area and the participants can take creative freedom for their ideas. Registration can take place online in advance or on the day of the event from 11 a.m. directly on the Ilminsel, so no reason to miss the fun!

Details on the competition and the prices

The competition starts at 12 p.m. with the aim of reaching the Utopia youth talent station on Diocese path 5 in Pfaffenhofen-Sulzbach by 9 p.m. at the latest. The participants can compete in two categories: under the age of 18 and over 18 years. In order to secure the necessary meals for the teams, there is a small amount of 5 euros for additional members, while the entry fee is 10 euros - reduced 5 euros.

An exciting aspect of the competition is the evaluation of the submitted photos by a jury of experts. The best works will later be presented in an exhibition from July 19 to August 3 in the municipal gallery in the House of Encounter. The vernissage and award ceremony on July 18, in which the top five participants are awarded in both age categories, is particularly worth mentioning.

Last year in the category under the age of 18, among others, Sophie Kirschner and Elias Hirsch asserted themselves as the winner. Mia Engl and Jürgen Bitz were among the best photographers for over 18-year-olds. There were exciting prices for the winners, including travel vouchers and photo books. This year, too, the participants can look forward to great awards that vary every year, but are usually always very popular.
