In Pfaffenhofen next week everything will revolve around the important topic of dementia. As part of the Bavarian Dementia Week, numerous events are offered that raise awareness of this disease and present offers of help. The Alzheimer Society Pfaffenhofen/Ilm district, the Caritas specialist office for caring relatives and the city's senior citizens' office have put together a colorful program. The series of events starts on Tuesday, September 23rd, with a special highlight: from 2:30 p.m. a musical journey through time will take place in the Hofbergsaal, which is specifically intended for people with dementia and their relatives. Rainer Berg's musical performance promises a touching experience. Registration is required for this.
A variety of offers for walkers and those curious
On the same day, at 5:30 p.m., there will be a lecture on the topic of “Eating and drinking in dementia” at the Caritas Center, Ambergerweg 3. Participation is possible without prior registration, so that anyone interested can gain new perspectives from the information offered.
The “City Moments” city tour, which takes place on Saturday, September 27th, offers a free opportunity to discover Pfaffenhofen in a very special way.
