What drives a woman to run a marathon every day? Joyce Hübner, 37 years old and a Berliner by choice, has set herself the task of doing exactly that. She has been on the road since June and plans to cross all 2,059 German cities in 495 days. She is currently running through the picturesque Nuremberg region. The numbers are impressive: In total, the tour will cover over 21,000 kilometers and more than 200,000 meters of altitude. However, this wasn't her first adventure on this scale. Marathon Life and Nutrition

In order to meet these physical demands, Joyce Hübner needs around 5,000 kilocalories every day. Her diet consists of carbohydrates and snacks that she consumes during runs. Her partner Dünnwald takes care of the food: she is provided with everything she needs six times a day by a support vehicle. Recently, however, a visit to a restaurant was added to the program, where they enjoyed three pizzas and drinks for 77 euros.

A notable episode of their tour took place on the 96th stage from Kelheim to Bach an der Donau. 31 running enthusiasts took part, including the youngest participant, who was just 13 months old and was taken along in a bicycle trailer. Such moments make the trip not only a sporting challenge, but also a community experience.

Hübner has planned 35 pairs of running shoes for her tour, which are specifically selected based on the number of kilometers covered. On rainy days, she keeps herself entertained with podcasts. Your trip is expected to end on October 8, 2026 in Berlin, right in front of the famous Olympic Stadium.
