Hersbruck, Deutschland - In Hersbruck, the upper market will be a colorful sports arena from June 27 to July 13, 2025, because the Gewo Challenge of Lebenshilfe Nürnberger Land is just around the corner. The program of the Gewo Challenge
The Gewo Challenge offers numerous ways to do sports. The activities not only include cycling and running, but also fitness workouts and an exciting cooking recipe exchange, which is particularly the focus this year. Among other things, the goals include promoting healthy nutrition and creating a recipe archive in which the participants can submit their healthy favorite recipes. This initiative not only promotes participation in sport, but also strengthens the sense of community and social interaction among the participants.

The focus on inclusion
The Gewo Challenge is not just a sporting event-it is part of a larger health and social inclusion initiative of Lebenshilfe Nürnberger Land e. V. As an important player in the field of disabled people, Lebenshilfe shows how important it is to anchor the inclusive thoughts in society. According to the German disabled sports association , access to sporting activities is a key to promoting the participation of people with disabilities in everyday life.
The challenge is an excellent opportunity to reduce prejudices and to raise awareness of the abilities of people with disabilities. Because sport brings people together - whether with or without a handicap. The event is supported by a committed team under the direction of Dennis Kummarnitzky and Anargiros Tsopouridis, who do everything possible to promote a strong sense of community.
In recent years, the Gewo Challenge has already moved a lot. Many participants have come to become active and to work for health and inclusion. Visitors and participants can look forward to a lively, varied time and are cordially invited to get involved!
