Four new masters from Neuburg: talented craftsmen celebrate their graduation!

A big day for craftsmanship: On August 12, 2025, a festive graduation ceremony for 324 graduates of the master schools took place at Munich's Ostbahnhof. This celebration recognized the achievements of the 2024/2025 school year participants who come from a variety of trades, including electrical engineering, hairdressing and numerous other disciplines.

As part of the celebrations, four talented masters from the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district received special recognition. Wilhelm Bauer and Tobias Hecht received awards in the field of electrical engineering, while Philipp Brandner and Marco Schneider shone in plumbing and heating engineering. These honors are not only a sign of personal success, but also an important signal for the development of crafts in the region. According to Donaukurier the diversity and versatility of the craft is evident here.

A final word

School principal Nicole Kohnhäuser compared master training with “crossing the Alps”. This illustrates the long and often rocky path that the graduates have traveled. They came from 23 different countries and ranged in age from 18 to 55 years. During his speech, Dominik Krause, Vice Mayor of Munich, also praised the graduates' commitment to striving for the master's title and their willingness to take on responsibility in their professional future.

Franz Xaver Peteranderl, President of the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria, emphasized how valuable the knowledge learned is for the graduates. They are well prepared to face the challenges of the modern world, especially the topics of digitalization and climate change. These aspects are not only essential for crafts, but also for society as a whole.

The look into the future

The graduates are therefore ideally prepared for the tasks ahead. Further training to become a technician could be the next step for many of them. Full-time, part-time and distance learning courses are offered and enable you to take on additional responsibility. Participation in such courses is often eligible for funding through the Advancement BAföG, which makes the decision to further your education easier. According to Meisterschulen, such further training not only expands professional skills, but also offers business knowledge that is crucial for the next career step.

At a time when the importance of qualified specialists is constantly growing, these graduates are well positioned to gain a foothold and shape their professional fields. Under the motto “Strong together”, they are of great value not only for their companies, but also for society.
