TSV Weilach celebrates promotion - a new beginning after years of fight!

TSV Weilach celebrated the promotion to the district class with a triumphal 4-0 win against TSV Schiltberg on Wednesday evening. In front of almost 1700 enthusiastic spectators in Aresing, a long suffering for the club ended, which had repeatedly failed because of relegation games since 2018. The euphoria in the stadium could hardly be tamed: after the final whistle there was a place storm in which the fans celebrated the victory with flags and a megafon. Leo Solich, one of the three player coaches, shared his joy about the tremendous enthusiasm of the fans and the feeling of community among the club members who supported the association in difficult times.

"We finally left the unpleasant chapter behind," said Solich. In the past five years, TSV Weilach has repeatedly struggled not to take advantage of its chances in relegation games. Now this success is being celebrated extensively. The Weilacher Sportheim was the scene of the exuberant celebrations, which lasted deep into the night and will continue in the coming days.

This week the last games also took place in the district and A classes. In the district class, the leader SF Bachern was able to secure his championship with a home win against SV Ried. The pursuers DJK Givinghofen, who collected 30 points in the second half of the season, also won their game against SV Waidhofen and thus remain a serious competitor. Wulfertshausen and Schiltberg do everything possible to stay in the league, but it will be a hard fight for them.

In the A-Class, SV Ottmaring runs with 69 points, while the pursuer TSV Sielenbach is close to the heels. The tension in the last days of the game is tangible with the decisive games. Even if TSV Weilach can now celebrate in the district class, the competition does not remain idle. Trainers and players of the other teams are optimistic about the future of their teams, while TSV Weilach is now preparing for the challenges of the new season.
