This ceremony recognizes the legacy of St. Benno, who worked as a Bishop of Meißen in the 11th century and is known for his skills as an intermediary in conflicts.
The honor of St. Benno is not only a festive occasion, but also a way to think about the Catholic faith. On June 16, the sacred commemoration of the saint will also be celebrated, followed by an art campaign, which is led by an artist couple from Colombia.
