LG Allgäu sili na Siciliji na evropskih prvenstvih Seniors!
Nicolosi, Italien - The European Senior Championships on the mountain run at the end of June attracted numerous athletes from all over Europe at the foot of the Majestic Etna in Sicily. Over 580 runners from more than 20 nations took part in the spectacle, which included three exciting disciplines: the Classic mountain run, the vertical run and the ultra -trailla run.
In the Classic mountain run, which led over a distance of 9 kilometers with 450 meters of altitude, Hans Bouricha-Hörmann from FC Ebershausen and Otto Hörmann from TV Kempten were able to secure remarkable places in the M65 age group.
The vertical run with 1,010 meters of altitude was a special challenge over just 4 kilometers, especially through the slippery terrain from Lavasand. Bouricha-Hörmann in Hörmann sta zbrala druge dragocene točke s svojimi mesti 15 in 17 v M65.
On this technically demanding route of 29 kilometers with 1,800 meters of altitude, Wolfgang Wäger from TV Kempten secured the 10th place in the M45 and Joachim Wilczek from SC Altstädten in the M55.
In a gripping competition, Thomas Kotsek from TV Kempten secured the title of German champion in the M45, while he took 12th place in the overall ranking.
sta Kotissek podprla njegova soigralca Franz Schwieger in Peter Diemer. Skupaj sta zmagala v ekipni uvrstitvi starostnih skupin M40/45 in dobila naslov prvenstva. In the M50/55 team, the LG Allgäu provided another strong group, with Christian Scholz, Thomas Blum and Theo Feneberg, who also brought the title to Kempten.
The achievements of Sabine Nagel, who reached the 3rd place in the W35, as well as Birgit Paluka and Brigitte Bietsch, which contributed to the strong placement among women, once again underlined the enormous potential and profound of the LG Allgäu. These successes show that the mountain running scene in Germany, especially in the Allgäu, is flourishing and there is a constant influx of talents.
The impressive achievements in Nicolosi and Bad Kohlgrub pave the way for future challenges and spoil the athletes to continue to do their best and keep the Allgäu region on the map. Še vedno je vznemirljivo, kaj bodo uspeli tekači LG Allgäu v prihodnji sezoni.
