Skate punk sensation: Bodyjar at JUZ Lichtenfels! 500 euro donation for the performance!

An exciting evening awaits the Lichtenfels Youth Center! As the Main post reports, the well-known Australian rock band Bodyjar will be performing at the JUZ. The reason for the invitation was a sudden cancellation of an appointment, which gave the Lichtenfels youth center the opportunity to welcome an internationally renowned band. Bodyjar, which was founded in Melbourne in 1990, is currently touring Europe with Urethane and bringing the fresh air of skate punk to Bavaria.

Bodyjar is known for their catchy pop-punk sound and has earned a permanent place in the music scene with numerous albums since their inception. The successful releases include six studio albums, including “Take a Look Inside” and “Rimshot!”, as well as their most recent work “New Rituals”, which was only released in February 2022. The band, consisting of Cameron Baines, Nick Manuell, Tom Read and Shane Wakker, has reformed several times throughout its history and remains an active presence in the music scene. Support for the youth center

However, the organization and implementation of such an event also entails risks that the JUZ Lichtenfels cannot manage alone. Therefore, VEMA, the largest cooperative service provider for insurance brokers in Germany with its headquarters in Heinersreuth, immediately pledged a donation of 500 euros. This financial support is an important step in reducing the costs of the performance and making the event accessible to the young population.

Especially for a non-profit organization like the JUZ, this performance represents an excellent opportunity to not only offer a unique concert experience, but also to strengthen local youth work. Those responsible are aware that every support counts in order to be able to realize such cultural highlights.

The anticipation for the concert is increasing, and both music fans and the young people of the JUZ Lichtenfels can look forward to an unforgettable evening. Bodyjar brings a mix of nostalgia and new momentum to Bavaria, and we can only hope that the event will be a complete success!
