A century of tavern singing: Kronach celebrates with music and heart!
A very special anniversary is being celebrated in picturesque Kronach: The folk and mountain costume association “Die Rosenbergler Kronach” celebrated its 100th pub singing. This social event, which takes place every first Monday of the month in the clubhouse, has now developed into a popular meeting place for music lovers and social people. The cozy atmosphere not only invites you to sing and laugh, but also to socialize. And the atmosphere at the anniversary was particularly uplifting!
The event was filled to capacity. Numerous members, friends and patrons from the district experienced an unforgettable musical experience with the talented musicians Stefan Ender on the accordion and Sigfried Hauck on the trumpet. Unfortunately, guitarist Jürgen Ditsche was unable to take part due to vacation plans. Nevertheless, the guests did not let the joy of singing together be taken away from them, and the variety of sounds ensured an evening full of memories and happy moments. Np-Coburg reports that tavern singing keeps an old tradition alive with dignity.
A contribution to the community
The Reitsch sports club also drew attention with a tavern singing event. Numerous music lovers and fans of the pub tradition were represented at this event. Part of the proceeds were donated to the “1000 Hearts for Kronach” charity campaign, which made the community campaign even more valuable. A total of an impressive 465 euros was raised, which was rounded up to 500 euros thanks to the commitment of the SVR and was handed over to Herta and Gerhard Burkert-Mazur in the evening.
The chairman of the SVR, Jochen Lang, was happy about the full sports hall and had a special greeting to the “1000 Hearts” team, consisting of Herta and Gerhard Burkert-Mazur as well as Fabian Burkert-Mazur, Kevin Dubian and Anna Pfalzgraf. The charity campaign supports people in financial need, and the aid initiative is supported by numerous volunteers and artists who perform without a fee. Fränkischer Tag highlights how strongly the local community sticks together.
Volunteering in focus
Another important aspect that corresponds to these events is the great commitment of volunteers, which is also visible in the concert hall. Over 50 volunteers take care of the organization and the well-being of the visitors. These people are often the first point of contact when it comes to giving guests a look behind the scenes. Those interested can take part in daily tours and get to know the concert hall's four venues.
Volunteering not only has a high status in the cultural scene, but also plays a key role in the social fabric of the city. “The volunteers go through thick and thin and make a decisive contribution to the vibrant culture,” can be read on the concert hall’s website. The commitment is strengthened by the Zukunft Konzerthaus e.V. association, which supports numerous initiatives and projects to promote togetherness in the community. Konzerthaus shows how important voluntary work is for cultural life.
It couldn't be more moving when traditional events not only serve as entertainment, but also encourage solidarity and community engagement. Kronach shows that you can stick together - whether singing in a pub or helping those in need. It will be exciting to see how these traditions continue to develop!
