A serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday evening, June 14, 2025, on Mindelaltheimer Strasse near Offingen. At around 9 p.m. there was a collision between a 16-year-old moped driver and a car that came from the left. The young driver, who wanted to bend onto the state road from Schnuttenbach, suffered serious but not life -threatening injuries and had to be taken to a hospital with a rescue helicopter. The 59-year-old driver was not injured.
The extent of the damage is also considerable: the police estimate the total damage to the vehicles involved at around 10,000 euros. Numerous forces from the Schnuttenbach volunteer fire brigade as well as rescue helicopter, emergency services and an emergency doctor were on site. The state road had to be closed until 11:30 p.m. due to the cleanup.
