On Saturday, June 15, 2025, a break-in at a food truck caused a stir after the happy hustle and bustle of the Ringmauerfest in Waldkirchen. According to the reports of Passauer Neue Presse The incident was discovered around 1:40 a.m. on Ringmauerstrasse when an alert employee of a security company heard noises from the sales stand and immediately informed the local police station.

The unknown perpetrator apparently targeted the food truck. When officers arrived, it was discovered that one of the doors of the car had been forced open. The suspect was still inside the food truck, but took the opportunity to flee towards a nearby parking garage. Despite the intensive search, the perpetrator was able to escape and the witness lost track of him in the parking garage. A colorful festival program

The Ringmauerfest itself was a complete success and offered numerous attractions for young and old. The gates opened on Friday, June 7th, 2019 with a colorful entrance at 6:30 p.m., followed by a performance by the band TROGLAUER at 8:00 p.m. and an after-show party in the LOBO. Saturday then offered a real festival highlight with a craft market, a children's area with bouncy castles and a StreetSOCCER tournament in which 18 teams fought for victory. The city administration organized an entertaining supporting program with performances by traditional costume clubs and brass bands, as well as a white sausage breakfast.
