There are reasons to celebrate! In the last few weeks, several couples in the region, including Annemarie and Ludwig Beck as well as Rudi and Christa Kätzlmeier, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. These special moments are not only personal milestones, but also opportunities to gather the whole family and celebrate together.
On June 6, 2025 the time had come: Annemarie and Ludwig Beck from Hallbergmoos celebrated their golden wedding anniversary and Anni's 70th birthday at the same time. The celebrations began with a hearty white sausage breakfast in the Party-Stadl on the Beck-Hof. Here, where the couple tied the knot 50 years ago, memories were refreshed and new ones were created, because Anni had already harvested a whopping 450 cucumbers the day before. It is not only a celebration, but also a symbol of the connection to agriculture, which Ludwig Beck took over from his late father in 1972.
A life full of commitment
The Beck couple have now handed over the farm to their daughter Steffi and son-in-law Sebastian Hausler Jr. handed over, but they insist on continuing to actively participate. Their three children, Bianca, Steffi and Markus, as well as their six grandchildren are their pride. While Ludwig Beck is active in club life - be it with SV Siegfried or in the Goldach fire department - Anni Beck used to work as an industrial clerk and was successfully involved in agriculture.
On the occasion of their anniversary, the Becks invited 65 friends to a marquee on the farm to celebrate with them. “A good reason to reflect and say thank you,” you could say, because a golden wedding is not only a reason for joy for the couple, but also for the guests.
Celebrate with heart
Rudi and Christa Kätzlmeier from Freising also celebrated their 50th anniversary in style. The couple, who met at the savings bank, celebrated in a civil ceremony on July 20, 2023 and in church a day later. The two, who have lived in Hallbergmoos since 1995, are now enjoying their retirement and often go on bike rides in the surrounding forests. The golden wedding anniversary was accompanied by a relaxing wellness holiday in the Bavarian Forest, including her two daughters.
Rudi, who was active in the fire department for many years and sings in various choirs, went on a journey through life with his Christa, which was enriched by numerous vacation trips to Italy and Austria. Congratulations came from district administrators and other dignitaries who wished the couple a long, happy life.
As the wedding portal points out, a golden wedding represents not only an anniversary, but also an opportunity to look back on five decades, which often included many significant events and goals. The year 2023 will also bring extraordinary moments of happiness for the Kätzlmeiers and the Becks, which they can celebrate with the family.
