TSV Buchbach starts preparations: From runner-up to challenger!

The summer break is over, the anticipation is increasing - on Monday, June 16, 2025, TSV Buchbach will start preparing for a new season in the Bavarian Regional Football League. After the remarkable runner-up title last season, the team finds itself in an unfamiliar role: from hunter to hunted. Coach Alejandro Petrovic is looking forward to the challenges ahead and expects an exciting season with a place in the top half of the table.

A look at the squad shows that there have been some changes. Apart from four departures, the squad remains unchanged. Maximilian Manghofer and Levin Ramstetter have left the club to join SV Erlbach. Julian Rabenseifner is moving to TSV Amping on loan, while Leon Tutic's destination is still unknown. New to the team, however, are Alexander Mehring (22, FC Deisenhofen), Reza Sakhi Zada ​​(21, SV Heimstetten) and Adrian Alexy (19, SV Walpertskirchen) - reinforcements that should bring a breath of fresh air into the game.

Test matches and training camps

The first test games are just around the corner. On June 21st, TSV Buchbach will meet FC Schwaig in Taufkirchen (5 p.m.). The charity game against SpVgg Unterhaching in Langengeisling follows one day later, also at 5 p.m. The series of preparatory games will be rounded off with a match against VfL Hallbergmoos on June 25th (7 p.m.).

A special highlight will be the training camp in Bischofshofen, Austria, from June 27th to 29th. Here the players have the opportunity to optimally prepare for the upcoming challenges. The sporting director Andreas Bichlmaier has clear goals: a single-digit placement should be the minimum goal. However, he sees a repeat of his last success, the runner-up title, as rather unlikely. Department head Georg Hanslmaier emphasizes the importance of 40 points in order to continue the team's positive development over the last year and a half.
