On Sunday, July 27th, the Altenerding choir community invites all music lovers to their eagerly awaited summer concert in the Altenerding parish church. Under the title “Music between day and dream”, the choir community, together with first-class solo artists, breathes new life into the romantic atmosphere of the evening hours.
Inspired by the calm of the evening and the silence of the night, the concert will be a tribute to all the facets of this special time of day. Church musician Franz Maier has put together a varied program. There are works by great composers likeFranz Schubert, Joseph Haydn, Frédéric Chopin and Claude Debussyfor the performance, complemented by music from musicals and captivating gospel sounds.
A concert for everyone
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the parish church and is enjoyed by a large audience. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. The audience can look forward to a sophisticated musical experience that includes choral music as well as solo singing and instrumental musical numbers. This frames the magic of the night in all its nuances and brings it to life.
Particularly noteworthy is the participation ofIra Maria Scholz(soprano) andIngo Erlhoff(saxophone), who will provide impressive sounds as participants. A highlight of the evening is the concert pianist waiting for the audience Tobias Stork, who will show his skills as a soloist on the Steinway grand piano.
