Nursing crisis service in Erding: Free help for all communities!

The nursing crisis service in the Erding district is making great progress! As the Merkur is reported, which is now awarded by the project manager Katrin Neueder It was called free of charge for all participating municipalities in the future. So far, the municipalities have had to raise one euro per inhabitant, but through special support from the Ministry of Health, this contribution can be omitted if the 26 communities are fully participated

Currently only 20 of the 26 communities have only participated. Six places, namely book, Finsing, Isen, Lengdorf, Walpertskirchen and Wartenberg, are not yet on board. District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer emphasizes the importance of full participation: "Each community should contribute to this so that we can ensure an unified offer."

Services of the nursing crown service

The nursing crisis service offers fast, uncomplicated support for people of all ages if they can no longer take care of themselves due to emergency. The Brk informs that the service includes home and treatment care for up to five days by qualified staff. Over 200 missions in 2024 show the needs and the need for this service. Even in the first half of 2025, 80 missions were recorded.

This service ensures that support offers exist, especially if family or other services cannot be available. It is important that the nursing staff is not a substitute for fundamental outpatient or inpatient care, but rather would like to complement them.

In addition, a wide network is being worked on that includes various facilities, service providers and volunteers. This approach is intended to further improve the offers of help on site and also strengthen the cooperation between the various actors. According to the nursing network Germany , the municipalities in particular have a decisive role in building up maintenance points and advisory services.

Financial support and future prospects

Financial support for the nursing crisis service will change significantly. In the future, the project will receive up to 70% of its costs from the "Good Care Bavaria" program. The district itself will cover the rest of up to an amount of 60,000 euros. This worthwhile funding was made possible by the quick and uncomplicated application by Katrin Neueder.

With the ongoing contract that ends on January 31, 2026, a new tender is pending. The district plans to publish the criteria for the new provider in autumn, so that from February 1, 2026, a seamless transition is guaranteed. The costs must not be over 150,000 euros. The other conditions will be published promptly on the district's homepage.

The entire project has the potential to continue for many years, not only for the communities that are already participating, but also for those who are still superior. Those responsible are optimistic that the six missing mayors can also be moved to consent. This could become a real success model in the Erding district.
