Third medal for KLJB Eichstätt: Landjugend celebrates their success!
Eichstätt, Deutschland - The atmosphere at yesterday at the award ceremony of the Landjugendförderpraid prize in Würzburg was electrifying. The diocese of Eichstätt reports that the association "Friends and Sponsors of the KLJB Diocese of Eichstätt e.V." received third place for his commitment. During the 76th State Assembly of the Catholic Land Youth Movement (KLJB) Bavaria, numerous members and visitors met to honor the diversity and social commitment of young people in Bavaria.
One of the main projects of the association is the Fiebenstall Landjughaus in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district. There, the event format "Fiegenstaller Ferbieb" offers a stage for monthly film evenings, advanced training and discussion groups. The aim is to bring both former and active members of the KLJB together and interested parties from the region together and to promote the exchange.
The ranking of the projects
The award ceremony honored a total of five outstanding initiatives from rural youth work. The first three places are distributed as follows:
- 1. Place: KLJB Andermannsdorf (Landshut district) - 1,250 euros
- 2. Place: KLJB Dietersburg (Rottal-Inn district)-1,000 euros
- 3. Place: Friends and sponsors of the KLJB Diocese of Eichstätt - 750 euros
In addition, the Diocesan Association of Passau received a special prize to honor the contribution of the rural youth. The award took place in a solemn framework, in which prominent guests such as the Grünen parliamentary group leader in the Bavarian state parliament, Katharina Schulze, also had their say. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of Catholic rural youth for social cohesion and praised the commitment of young people.

A highlight of the awarding event was the commitment of the KLJB Dietersburg, which achieved second place with a benefit concert in favor of a sick young person. The event took place in the prepared barn of a member and delighted those present with a performance by the Dietersburg Landjugenchor. The members took over the meals with homemade dishes and presented their project in detail at the award ceremony.

The KLJB Bayern has around 25,000 members and has set itself the goal of inspiring young people for life in the country and strengthening them socially. Before the award ceremony ended with a champagne reception and musical framework, elections and resolutions of content also took place. These aspects illustrate that the rural youth movement not only forms an important network in Bavaria, but also creates a place for young people to actively participate in their community.
The Filib Land Youth Promotion Prize, which is awarded every two years by the funding agency of innovative rural youth work in Bayern e.V., would like to appreciate creative and sustainable projects from the rural youth.
