Poinger street festival 2025: A festival of colors and sounds!

The Poinger street festival is just around the corner and promises to become a festival for the senses! On Saturday, June 28th, the main street in Poing will become a stage for a colorful program that starts at 3:30 p.m. Over 40 street stalls, three event platforms and lots of entertainment make this festival a must for all festival goers. The Süddeutsche Zeitung reports that the official opening is carried out by Mayor Thomas Stark at 4 p.m.

grab your friends and enjoy the diverse music ranging from blues to party music to Latin American rhythms. Country and Danceebeats will also be heard. On the talent stage, visitors can look forward to appearances by Niko Süker, Tydes and the Santa Muerte Band. Joker and the Thieves and Gsindl on the ARGE stage also ensure a good atmosphere, while Cloud Number 5 and Son Unplugged make their hearts beat faster on the maypole.

The festival not only offers music and dance, but also many attractions for young and old. The younger visitors can let off steam at gummy bear fishing, children's theater and skill playing in the children's area in the city garden. For the older guests, there are opportunities for trampoline jumping, can throwing and an exciting hero course. The Poinger clubs present themselves with their offers and invite everyone to become part of the action.

The street festival looks back on a long tradition. In 2001 it was launched by a committed group and has been organized annually since then. As the own website of the festival , the organization team consists of motivated volunteers who are passionate about the success of the festival. These include Peter Keegan, who heads the team, as well as numerous helpers who take care of finances, stages and the children's program.

Volunteering plays a central role in the organization of such events. According to Vereine.de it is important that those responsible have a good eye on the strengths and needs of their volunteers.
