New election of the district senior council: everyone can now submit suggestions!

Dingolfing-Landau, Deutschland - In the district of Dingolfing-Landau, there is an important new election: the district senior council will be re-elected in September. The election period of the current members ends on September 15, 2025. The election proposals can now be submitted. The district senior council, the body, which is made up of eight elected members, up to two appointed members and other representatives of social institutions, has a significant social role. This includes the district administrator, a representative of the Caritas Association, the BRK district association and the hospice association as well as two advisory members of the Office for Social Affairs and Seniors. At the upcoming election assembly on September 15, which will take place at 7 p.m. in the large meeting room of the district office, the new representatives can be elected, whereby the presence of the senior citizens' advisory board and other advisory boards from Dingolfing and Landau are required.

He is committed to representing older people, gives recommendations on senior -relevant topics and informs the older population about rights and opportunities.
