Asphalting work: Important changes for Niederviehbach and Loiching!

Due to unstable weather, the asphalting work in the area of the DGF 1 district road, which connects Niederviehbach with Loiching, has to be slightly adjusted. The necessary weather must be taken into account, like that Website of the Dingolfing-Landau district reported.

The remaining work on creating the base layer in the direction of Loiching will continue on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025. Exits will be made and adhesive will be applied to the entire route by mid-afternoon. Vehicle drivers are required to only drive into the construction site area in an emergency, as it can become slippery after applying the adhesive.

Current construction phases

On Thursday, July 24th, 2025, the installation of the surface layer on the route from Niederviehbach towards the town of Loiching is planned. Here, too, it is recommended to use the access roads from the Bergstraße local road in the direction of the Niederviehbach village center. It is planned to lay the surface layer from the DGF 4 junction to the Bergäcker and Bergstrasse access roads on Friday, July 25th, 2025.

Important for residents: During construction work, properties on Bergstrasse may be difficult to access. The rule here is that vehicles should be parked outside the construction site area so as not to hinder the construction work.

Construction work in Mötzing

Another construction project is also attracting attention: Kastnerstrasse is being expanded in Mötzing. There was already dismantling work here on Friday, July 18th, 2025. Access to private properties in the construction site area will not be possible until July 22, 2025. Residents are encouraged to park their vehicles outside of the construction site area, like the Municipality of Mötzing informed.

Particularly important: Entering and driving on construction site areas can result in damage to clothing and vehicles. A thank you goes to residents and road users for their understanding while these measures are being carried out, which will ultimately benefit the entire townscape.

If there are any short-term changes between days, these will be communicated via the usual online media, the district app or the Biwapp app. Diversions for through traffic have also already been set up to keep the impact on traffic as low as possible.
