Early on Saturday morning, August 16, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the A92 shortly before the Dingolfing Ost exit in the direction of Munich. Loud idowa A 25-year-old woman died in the accident. The accident happened at 2:30 a.m. and was probably caused by improper speed in the rain.
There were three people in the car, which came from the Landshut district. The 18-year-old driver and the 25-year-old passenger in the front seat suffered serious injuries. The situation was tragic for the rear passenger, who was also 25 years old and was fatally injured in the accident. The vehicle initially veered off the road to the right, broke through a wildlife protection fence and overturned in an adjacent field. A large contingent of fire and rescue services were quickly on site to help the injured and secure the scene of the accident.
Investigation and road closure
The public prosecutor immediately ordered a report on the accident analysis and the technical aspects of the incident. The right lane of the A92 towards Munich was closed until 7:30 a.m. while the rescue work and photographs of the accident site were carried out. After the investigation was completed, the road was reopened.
