Zero new infections in the Dillingen district: Corona situation is easing!

How news.de reported, the 7-day incidence remains stable at 1.0 per 100,000 inhabitants. This leaves the total number of people who tested positive at 55,527, while 6,875,700 people across the Free State have been infected since the start of the pandemic.
Confidence is currently increasing in Bavaria. On August 30, 2025, 25 new cases were reported nationwide, and the 7-day incidence is 1.5. There are currently three more deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 187,828. The situation in the intensive care units is largely stable. In the Dillingen district, seven of the eight intensive care beds are occupied, but there is still one free bed for possible COVID patients.
Prospects and vaccination rate
The vaccination rate in Germany is showing encouraging progress. As of April 8, 2023, 76.3% of the population had primary immunization, while 77.9% had received at least one vaccination. There are now 904,325 cases recorded in the 60-79 year old age group, with the highest number of infections being among 35-59 year olds: 2,628,782 infections were registered here. The estimated case fatality rate remains 0.48%, as corona-in-zahlen.de supplemented.
In Germany, the average number of new infections in the last seven days is 199 per day. With 768 hospitalized COVID-19 cases and 87 patients in intensive care units, the hospitalization rate is currently at a low level. These numbers indicate that the vaccination campaigns are having an impact and the burden on the health system remains low.
Regional differences
While the situation in Dillingen is stable, there are regional differences. In Bavaria, 195,158 cases are registered in the 0-4 year old age group, which corresponds to 29.61%. The large numbers among 5-14 year olds with 805,232 infections shows that parents should continue to remain vigilant. Meanwhile, politicians have not given any indication of new measures, which is a relief for many.
In summary, it can be said that the incidences in Bavaria and especially in the Dillingen adDonau district are heading in a positive direction. The feedback from the population is consistently optimistic and, based on current developments, the future seems to be secured at least for the coming weeks.
