Solingen and Dachau: German champions in U15 beach volleyball celebrated!

On July 9, 2025, the best U15 teams in Germany met in beach volleyball at the picturesque Bostalsee, where the German club championship was held. A total of 38 teams, including 20 female and 18 male, fought for the title of German champions. Their common goal was clear: to take the trophy home! As volleyball-verband.de reports, the Solingen Volleys won the boys' competition, while the ASV Dachau girls were able to take the crown.

Over 120 games were played in scorching heat and sunshine, an exhausting but also exciting highlight for everyone involved. The proximity to the water provided the athletes with much-needed cooling. The event was organized by SSC Freisen e.V., supported by around 140 volunteers under the leadership of tournament director Alexander Becker. This sporting festival impressed not only with the games, but also with a diverse supporting program, which included an entertaining comedy night on Saturday evening. The positive feedback from the teams was a clear sign that the focus here was not just on sport, but also on team spirit and the joy of being in the community.

The teams in action

A total of around 216 players from all over Germany were there who had qualified for this championship in their associations. The event took place in the beach volleyball facility at the Bosen lido, which served as the perfect venue to offer the athletes optimal conditions. The various teams qualified through outstanding performances in their respective national associations to now fight for the German championship. SSC Freisen, which took over the organization of the championships, was celebrated as the only representative of Saarland and was in top form.

Viewers and fans could look forward to impressive games: the girls and boys fought thrilling duels that captivated the audience until the last second. Thanks to the commitment of SSC Freisen, which received the approval of the German Volleyball Association, the spectators experienced a sports festival that was second to none. In order to further strengthen the motivation of the young athletes, SV Lohhof will also be hosting a major tournament next year, as lohhof-volleyball.de also informs.

A look forward

The next German beach volleyball club championship U15 will take place in 2024 from July 12th to 14th at the youth sports facility of SV Lohhof e.V. in Unterschleißheim. 36 teams are expected here again and have to qualify for the national championships. There is great anticipation for the next competitions, and many in the volleyball community already have new goals buzzing in their minds. Can new talents from ASV Dachau or Solingen Volleys step onto the championship stage and prove their dominance? The coming months will show where the journey is headed.
