Around 4 p.m., a 61-year-old driver crashed into an oncoming tractor-trailer with his Skoda and immediately succumbed to his serious injuries. The man, who came from the Kulmbach district, had lost control of his vehicle for an unknown cause and had come to the opposite lane. Fortunately, the 59-year-old truck driver was unharmed.

The property damage is estimated at several ten thousand euros.
