In the afternoon of July 17, 2025, the fire brigade was alerted to a smoking truck in the Buxachtal-Ost parking lot on the A7 near Memmingen. Several calls reported a possible fire, which immediately put the emergency services into the highest willingness to alert. But on site it turned out: Fortunately, it was only strong smoke, which was probably caused by a technical defect in the turbocharger of the truck.

There was no open fire! Nevertheless, the damage was big enough that the vehicle owner could no longer continue the truck - it had to be towed. In addition to the Memmingen fire brigade, the motorway master's shop was also on duty to secure the security situation.
