Rauch from Kaufbeurer apartment building: Fire brigade quickly on the spot!

Kaufbeuren, Deutschland - Kaufbeuren. In the early evening of June 18, 2025, a fire caused excitement in an apartment building. At around 5 p.m., an attentive citizen noticed smoke out of the window and alerted the fire brigade. When the emergency services arrived, all residents were already on the street. The Kaufbeuren volunteer fire brigade started with around 40 emergency services and was able to quickly extinguish the fire.

First investigations by the police suggest that a defective radio was responsible for the fire on the windowsill. The property damage is estimated at around 5000 euros, luckily there were no injuries. The police were on site with several strips, as well as an ambulance, to ensure that everything was under control.
