Penzberg now has a strong woman at the head of the police!

The Penzberg police inspection has had a new head of office since May 1, 2025: Susanne Kettl, the first police chief commissioner, has now officially taken over the helm. At the ceremonial inauguration in the Penzberg town hall, police chief Frank Hellwig welcomed numerous guests, including deputy district administrator Wolfgang Taffertshofer and Mayor Stefan Korpan, as well as representatives of the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria.

Ms. Kettl's impressive career began in 1989 at the then female criminal police, and since then she has worked through various positions, including her time at the criminal police in Munich, to her current role. After she had been leading the office temporarily since 2021, she has now officially been broadcast the management of the Penzberg police inspection. Hellwig congratulated Kettl warmly and wished her good luck for the upcoming tasks.
