Motorcycle controls at a glance: 500 vehicles checked on security offensive!

From June 27th to 29th, 2025, the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria Süd held the second national exchange of experiences on motorcycle security. Over 500 motorcycles and cars were checked on popular routes in southern Upper Bavaria during extensive controls. The focus was on compliance with the traffic rules, the technical condition of the vehicles and the fight against excessive noise pollution.

The police found serious violations, including around 50 cases of crazy tires and technical changes that questioned the vehicle's operating license. When the weather is optimal, the officials were able to carry out both stationary and mobile controls. There were also lectures and legal training courses to expand the knowledge of the participating police officers from several federal states and Austria. Overall, the police headquarters of Upper Bavaria South drew a positive balance and described the event as a profitable weekend for everyone involved.
