On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, an alarming situation in Schwabach caused excitement: a woman brought an explosive object in the trunk of her car to the police inspection. Shortly after 3:20 p.m., she reported that she found a suspicious explosive device during an apartment resolution and now wanted to hand over it. The officials reacted immediately and informed specialists from the State Criminal Police Office in Munich to examine the potential explosives.

The experts from the special group (TSG) arrived at around 5:15 p.m. They carried out a thorough danger evaluation and found that it was only a non -sharp explosive grenade. The danger was thus banned, and only a short-term blocking of Friedrich-Ebert-Straße between Rittersbacher Straße and Austria was only necessary. The operation was finally over at 6:00 p.m. and the situation could be clarified without further complications.
