In the early hours of September 3, 2025, at 3:15 a.m., the police were alerted when a suspected group of vandals attacked a financial institution in Munich. Witnesses reported that the perpetrators sprayed graffiti on the window panes and then threw stones at them. The escape took place quickly and without any further problems.
On site, the police found purple lettering with political content, some of which was directed against the police. The material damage is estimated at several thousand euros. Despite an immediate search, officials have so far been unable to obtain any information about the perpetrators. The investigation was taken over by Criminal Investigation Department 4. The police ask that anyone who made suspicious observations during the incident in the area of Ganghoferstrasse, Heimeranstrasse, Hans-Dürrmeier-Weg and Petra-Moll-Weg contact them immediately.
