ATM in Küps blown up - police are urgently looking for witnesses!

In a dramatic incident, an ATM from Sparkasse Kulmbach-Kronach in Küps, Upper Franconia, was blown up early Monday morning. At 04:05 a.m., strangers converted the machine on Bahnhofstrasse into a rubble field before they hastily searched for the width in a dark escape vehicle. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the explosion, but the shock is deep.

The investigation was taken over by the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (BLKA). In the coming days, experts will analyze the explosives used in the forensic institute in Munich. The BlKA also calls the population to help with the investigation: Are there suspicious people or vehicles that were seen in the Küps area during the night?
