Drug find in the Mini Cooper: Italian arrested in Passau!

In a shocking incident on June 19, 2025, veil investigators from the Passau border police in Passau discovered a huge amount of drugs when a mini co -opter is checked. The driver, a 48-year-old Italian, was stopped at around 3:30 p.m. at the Hammerbach car park on the A3 in the direction of Austria when the suspicion of a smuggler hidden. A total of around 17 kilograms of drugs were secured during the search of the vehicle, including around 10 kilograms of amphetamine, 4 kilograms of crystal and 3 kilograms of an unknown substance.

The suspect was temporarily arrested and the investigation by the Passau public prosecutor and the criminal police inspection. The vehicle, the drugs and all electronic devices were confiscated. On June 20, 2025, an arrest warrant was issued against the 48-year-old for illegal import and trade in narcotics, and it was taken to a correctional facility.
