Influence of drugs at the wheel: 21-year-old e-scooter driver arrested in Hochzoll

On Tuesday evening, July 15, 2025, a 21-year-old e-scooter driver was targeted by the police in Hochzoll. At 11:30 p.m., the officers became aware of the man, who was obviously under the influence of drugs. A rapid drug test confirmed the suspicion and was positive about cannabis.

Although the young man initially reacted aggressively to the police officers, they were able to calm him down. A blood sample was then arranged and the onward journey stopped. During the check, the officials also found further drugs that was ensured. Now the 21-year investigation is faced with violations of the Road Traffic Act and for possession of cannabis.
