Twilight hour and bikes: garage poachers caught in Munich!
On the night of Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 p.m., a 37-year-old man from Munich tried to break into a garage on private property. When the residents noticed him, the perpetrator fled towards an undeveloped area. The police were immediately alerted and several patrol cars responded to the scene.
A special highlight of the manhunt: a police dog was used to follow the trail of the unknown man. In fact, the emergency services were able to trace the trail to two driveways where the suspect was hiding. But the pressure from the police was too great - the man finally identified himself and was arrested. Despite breaking into the garage, it was fortunately a failed theft as nothing was stolen. The man is now facing charges of trespassing and attempted theft. Commissariat 53 has taken over the investigation.
