Fraudulent phone calls in Auerbach: police warn!

In the Auerbach area in the Upper Palatinate, fraudulent phone calls are currently increasing, from which the police urgently warns. The unscrupulous fraudsters use fake identities to sneak up the trust of the citizens. For example, they pretend to be police officers and provide information about alleged burglars in which personal data were found. To protect the victims' valuables, ask them to hand over their objects to the wrong officials.

Another dangerous stitch is the so -called shock call, in which fraudsters pretend to be desperate relatives and claim that a child of the affected person has caused a serious traffic accident. In order to avert a supposed prison sentence, an immediate deposit is requested. The police headquarters asked the population to put up immediately in such situations and not be put under pressure by the fraudsters. Protection of your valuables begins with the right caution!
