What's new in Bad Kissingen? On June 13, 2025, all history and nature lovers are cordially invited to a special evening tour under the motto “Well served and guarded, Bad Kissingen calls you good night”. The event celebrates the Night Watchman tradition and offers a unique opportunity to explore the city by flickering lantern light. Udo Dickhage, the experienced city guide and night watchman, will lead you through the mysterious corners of the city.
The tour, which lasts around 1.5 hours, offers participants the chance to hear exciting stories and anecdotes from Bad Kissingen's past. Not only are well-known characters such as the city savior Peter Heil and Count Otto von Botenlauben introduced, but the gripping ballad of the knight Kunibert is also performed. These unique stories capture the charm and history of the city in a very special way.

The tour starts at the tourist information center in the arcade building and is ideal for all age groups. Participation costs 9 euros per person, which is a small price for a large portion of entertainment and knowledge.
