This tour offers people with e-mobile the opportunity to explore the fascinating history of salt extraction, without barriers. Bad Kissingen and the surrounding area invite both locals and tourists, with a route that leads from the idyllic rose garden to the Historical Museum Obere Saline.

The event takes place on July 2, 2025 and starts at 2 p.m. The tour lasts about three hours and includes various stations, including salt extraction on the lower saline, the impressive graduation work and the round fountain. Interesting anecdotes about prominent guests, including Otto Fürst von Bismarck, make the tour a special experience. There is also the possibility to visit the original Bismarck apartments in the museum, which is accessible at the reduced admission price. Bad Kissingen has a rich history in salt extraction, which goes back to 823. The Gradierwerk was once a central part of the salt extraction plants and today serves as a open -air stinhalatorium.
