a piece of history

Bad Kissingen has a rich history in salt extraction, which goes back to 823. The Gradierwerk was once a central part of the salt extraction plants and today serves as a open -air stinhalatorium. In the middle of the 19th century, the salt boiling industry experienced a decline, which led to the provision of brine baths and to convert the graduation tower . Even if the boiling of the boiling was discontinued in 1968, the graduation work is still used for solo halation and is part of the spa local attractiveness of Bad Kissingen.

The barrier -free guest lead is not only a way to explore the historic city, but also a sign of inclusion and participation. It shows that Bad Kissingen adapts to modern tourism and does not exclude anyone.
