Autumn is just around the corner and the Amberg-Sulzbacher Land will become a hiking zone from September 13th! As part of the “Hiking under a white-blue sky” campaign, nature lovers can enjoy various guided tours and hikes until October 26th. And the best part? Many of these offers are partly free or involve moderate fees. However, if you want to take part, you should usually register in advance - either online or by telephone. Those interested can find further information in the region's town halls or online in relevant flyers.
This initiative offers a colorful range of hiking and adventure tours that promise both walks and impressive landscape experiences. It starts with a ranger hike near Utzenhofen on September 13th, followed by further highlights such as the autumn hike in the Hirschwald in Rieden on September 20th and a Peutental hike in Edelsfeld on September 21st.
An exciting hiking program
Anyone looking for a special experience might also be interested in the theater walks and Marterl tours on September 28th in Hahnbach and Schnaittenbach. These events bring culture and nature wonderfully together. On October 2nd, an owl hike near Ursensollen is on the program, which would certainly not only be exciting for little adventurers. And for everyone who wants to combine enjoyment and nature, there will be a culinary market tour on October 12th under the motto “Our Beer”.
The finale of the campaign is a geological tour to the Mausberg and a devotional hike to Eglsee on October 26th. The diverse selection makes real hikers' hearts beat faster! No matter whether you lace up your hiking boots regularly or want to rediscover hiking, there is something for everyone here. Hiking is not only healthy, but also a wonderful way to explore the region's impressive nature and get some fresh air.
