Football Inclusion Days 2025: Diversity and passion in Nuremberg!
Next weekend, from October 10th to 12th, 2025, the main market in Nuremberg will be transformed into a true melting pot of inclusion. Under the motto “With football in the middle of society”, the DFB Sepp Herberger Foundation, the city of Nuremberg, the Bavarian Football Association, 1. FC Nuremberg and other partners invite you to the football inclusion days. This event aims to demonstrate the diversity of handicap football and promote encounters between people with and without disabilities. Admission is free for all activities, which opens the doors to numerous visitors who want to get an insight into this special sport, as BLSV reports.
This weekend everyone can experience football, as numerous talented footballers from all over Germany will take part. Exciting competitions and participatory activities are on the program on each of the three days, including tournaments for athletes with intellectual disabilities, inclusion teams and the big final game day of the Blind Football Bundesliga.

- 12:45 Uhr: Promi-Einlagespiel im Blindenfußball

- 14:00 – 15:00 Uhr: Fortsetzung Ü16-Inklusionsturnier
- 15:00 – 16:00 Uhr: Vorstellung E-Rolli-Fußball
- 16:00 – 17:00 Uhr: Vorstellung Amputierten-Fußball
Saturday will be particularly exciting as the highlight of the event – the final match day of the Blind Football Bundesliga – is coming up. Teams like Borussia Dortmund, FC St. Pauli and many others compete against each other here. As part of the inclusion days, visitors can also look forward to presentations of various types of football, such as e-wheelchair and amputee football, all of which help to raise awareness of the enormous talents and courage of the athletes, as DFB Foundations report.
The celebrities and supporters
A special highlight comes from prominent personalities from sport, politics and society who will support the event. Patron Wotan Wilke Möhring and ambassadors such as DFB President Bernd Neuendorf and footballer Robin Gosens show that inclusion is not an afterthought. The event is supported by, among others, Deutsche Telekom, Volkswagen and SAP, who are working together to support social projects.
These football inclusion days will be a unique experience that shows how much joy and cohesion football can offer. The atmosphere promises to be inspiring as participants demonstrate their skills and at the same time underline the importance of social integration of people with disabilities.
