Fortunately, the woman was uninjured and was flown safely off the mountain.

The injured person was walking on a steep, partly roped path at an altitude of around 1,900 meters when the accident occurred.

The weather deteriorated during the rescue attempts by the Alpin Heli 6 helicopter team. The conditions were far from ideal, making a quick rescue difficult. Finally, the mountain rescuers went up together with an emergency doctor to treat the injured man.

A total of 15 mountain rescuers from Saalfelden were deployed to bring the injured man down to the valley using a universal stretcher and rope insurance. The patient was handed over to the Red Cross around 5 p.m. Such operations show how important the mountain rescue organization and its hard work are in alpine areas.
