SG Riedlhütte champions - Dreisessel reaches for the district league!

A lot is currently happening in Bavarian football circles. The A-Juniors of SG Riedlhütte secured the championship on the last matchday of the Bavarian Forest district league with a convincing 3-1 win against SG Tiefenbach. However, this is not the whole story. The club has decided not to take part in the promotion relegation, which means that SG FC Dreisessel will move up as “vice,” district game manager Tobias Nöbauer confirmed in a statement. A step that will provide plenty of talking points, because as we all know, the competition never sleeps. For example, SG Gergweis II is not eligible for promotion in the Deggendorf district league, and on the last matchday SG Aidenbach and SG Ortenburg still have the chance to fight for second place.

Relegation to the district league is just around the corner, and only one of the four teams - SG Aidenbach, SG Ortenburg, TSV Waldkirchen and JFG Straubing-Bogen - will make it to promotion. It starts on June 28th. In the first game, SG Aidenbach or SG Ortenburg and JFG Straubing-Bogen face each other at 2 p.m., followed by another exciting duel at 5 p.m. between TSV Waldkirchen and SG FC Dreisessel in Hauzenberg. The playoff between the winners of the first two matches will follow on July 2nd at 6:15 p.m. The winner becomes district champion and can hunt for points in the district league next season.

B-Juniors in promotion mode

But something is not only happening with the A-Juniors. The B juniors are also ready to qualify for the association league. On Sunday, June 30th, the first leg against the Schwäbisch Hall syndicate will take place on the sports grounds in Dahenfeld. Coach Andreas Bürger shows respect for the opponent, but remains optimistic. His team has placed a strong focus on defense in order to neutralize Schwäbisch Hall's powerful offense, which already has many double-digit scorers.

However, there is one downer: midfielder Fabio Trignola is out due to a tear in his medial meniscus. A serious loss because the player stood out for his determination and enthusiasm for the game. However, the goal remains clear: promotion should also be made possible for Fabio Trignola. In the second leg on July 7th in Schwäbisch Hall, the B juniors have the chance to make up for a possibly unfavorable starting position in the first leg. The support of numerous spectators is urgently desired.

Things remain exciting for football fans in Bavaria. Whether in the A or B youth, the kick-off to the relegation games promises exciting encounters and lots of thrills. Further information about the competitions is also available at kicker.de.
